R & D Mission Statement
The mission of Research and Development is to promote the technology innovation that enables EarthLink to assume
leadership in providing Internet services to its members. Research and Development conducts research, standards work,
industry outreach, subject matter expertise consulting, and provides advisory services to senior management and
technical leaders. The engineering staff of Research and Development is united by a core set of professional values and
practices. Chief among these are rigorous standards of technical excellence, genuine curiosity, intellectual integrity, and a
strong work ethic.
