The audio tool "RAT" (Robust Audio Tool)
is responsible for the receipt and transmission of audio data.
Configuring computer audio input and output settings for real-time voice communications can be difficult. Typically the audio portion of a conference will be conducted using normal telephones/conference bridges. Using audio with Conference Manager is considered an advanced topic and is not described in detail in this document. For more information see Advanced Usage: Real-time Network Audio. |
Because RAT is a program separate from Conference Manager itself and not tightly integrated into Conference Manager, you may exit (probably accidentally) RAT without Conference Manager noticing. To restart RAT, you must manually click "Restart audio" in the Conference Manager window for the conference session.
