Start the Conference Manager Application by selecting EarthLink Beta Confmgr->Conferencing from the start menu.
On this screen, you can specify the location of your video, audio, and shared whiteboard tools. Click Save Settings to accept the default. You may return to this configuration window to adjust the settings by clicking Configuration... on the login window, or Prefs... on the main Conference Manager window.
- Selected Video Media Tool Helper (VIC):
Press the "Change" button and the configuration tool will assist in
locating the appropriate executable file. The configuration tool
will search your system for all VIC installations:
This may take several minutes, especially on systems with large hard disks. It may appear as though the program is not responding, but be patient. When the search is complete, the configuration tool will present a list of detected applications that may look somthing like the following:
Select the prefered Video tool from the list. - Selected Audio Media Tool Helper (RAT):
The process is similar to the video tool selection.
Press the "Change" button and the configuration tool will assist in
locating the appropriate executable file. The list may look
something like the following:
Select the prefered Audio tool from the list. - Selected Whiteboard Media Tool Helper (WB): The process is similar to the video and audio tool selection. Press the "Change" button and the configuration tool will assist in locating the appropriate executable file.
If you prefer to select the files manually and you already know the path to the appropriate executable files, you can type the paths into the textboxes provided.
